Credits and Data Sources
Imposter Games is designed and developed by Med Studios. This page identifies the main outside datasets, libraries, and services that help individual games work.
Original games and content
The game rules, interfaces, written instructions, original prompts, custom artwork, and overall site design are created or adapted for Imposter Games by Med Studios unless a source is named below or directly in a game. Player-created packs and other community submissions remain the responsibility of their creators and are reviewed before appearing in the public catalog.
Guess the Language audio
Language samples are from FLEURS by Google Research, a multilingual speech dataset released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. Imposter Games converts the source audio to a web-friendly format and trims clips for gameplay. Those changes do not imply endorsement by Google Research or the original speakers.
Pinpoint maps and city data
- Interactive map rendering uses MapLibre GL JS, distributed under its open-source license.
- Map tiles and map attribution are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors.
- The searchable world-city list is built from the GeoNames geographical database, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Platform technology
Open-source libraries help provide real-time multiplayer connections, account access, maps, and interface features. Their license notices remain with the packages or vendored files used by the project. Supabase provides authentication infrastructure, Resend helps deliver account emails, and Google provides fonts, analytics, and—where enabled—advertising. See the Privacy Policy for how service providers may process information.
