Use either option below to permanently delete your Imposter Games account and the data associated with it. You do not need to reinstall the Android app, and there is no subscription to cancel first.
Request account deletion
Self-service deletion is immediate. If you cannot sign in, send an email request and Med Studios will help verify and complete it.
Request deletion by email
Use this if you cannot access the account page. Send the request from the account email when possible.
Email deletion request- Online: sign in, select Delete my account, confirm your password when requested, type DELETE, and select Permanently Delete Account.
- Email: include the account email and display name. Never send your password, Google password, or a verification code. We may ask for limited information to verify account ownership.
Data deleted with your account
- Your active authentication account, email address, Google sign-in identifier and authentication metadata, active sessions, and Imposter Games account ID.
- Your profile, public display-name association, avatar reference, and account preferences.
- Your account-synced game statistics, progress, and achievements.
- Unpublished community-content records eligible for deletion and associated unpublished taunt files. The exceptions described below apply to Camoflee maps and approved content.
Data that may be kept
- Approved or published community content and Camoflee maps may remain available or playable indefinitely so existing community games keep working. They are detached from your deleted profile, and the creator will no longer link to an active Imposter Games account. You may request removal of specific content by email before or after deleting the account.
- Security, abuse-prevention, moderation, and legal records may be retained only while needed for an active investigation, dispute, safety issue, or legal obligation. They are not used to recreate your account.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked back to the deleted account may remain under the retention settings described in the Privacy Policy.
- Data stored only on your device, such as local guest stats, a saved nickname, theme choice, or reconnect data, is not stored in the account and cannot be remotely erased. Clear the app's storage or uninstall the app to remove it from that device.
Deletion timing and additional retention
Successful self-service deletion removes the active account immediately. Verified email requests are completed within 30 days. Residual copies may remain in restricted backups for up to 90 additional days before routine backup rotation permanently removes them. If applicable law or an active legal claim requires a longer period, only the required records are kept until that obligation ends.
